A Sola is the acoustic percussion solo by Núria Andorrà, captured on the CD KOKORO.
It is the result of a residency at Konvent.0 during which he focused on investigating his own language, moving away from conventional methods of percussion instrument excursion and finding different universes of sound.
A sola is his solo performance, where he strips himself of his academic traditions to reach virgin territories without obstacles.
The artist appears alone on stage surrounded by her instruments.
It invites us to have an active listening, to be present with the sound and music it creates in real time, where the audience is present, powerful, vital and active, just like music in essence.
